TRATECH is the annual technical conference of the Tripoli Rocketry Association and continues to be one of the most practical in-person learning events in high-power rocketry. Held alongside LDRS, it provides a focused setting for flyers to learn, exchange ideas, and build on real experience. Since 2021, TRATECH has grown steadily and remains an important part of Tripoli’s educational efforts.
For 2026, LDRS 44 will take place in Pence, Indiana, while TRATECH sessions will be held nearby in Danville, Illinois, where most attendees will be staying. The TRATECH Technical Conference and Summit will take place at Danville Area Community College on the evenings of April 16 and 17. This is an in-person event only and will not be live-streamed. These sessions are provided at no cost to LDRS attendees and are intended primarily for participating flyers.
Presentations will begin after daily launch activities conclude, making it easy to attend without missing range time. Seating is free and first come, first served, with ample capacity available. We will make a reasonable effort to record sessions and release them later, and many presenters will also provide slide decks for member access. That said, the value is in being there.
