The Tripoli Board of Directors had every intention of conducting a second liquid motor test at this year’s Balls launch at Black Rock this coming September, but the Bureau of Land Management had a differing opinion.
Our current land use agreement does not include the ability to launch liquid motors and there is currently insufficient time for the BLM to study the implications of allowing these motors to fly so we will not be allowed to perform our intended liquid motor flight demonstrations at that venue.
However, we have found a suitable alternate venue at nearly the same timeframe. Thanks to the generosity of the
Kloudbusters (Tripoli Kansas), they have granted dedicated space at this years Airfest for these flight demonstrations to occur. Airfest 31 will be held August 29th through September 1st, 2025 on the Rocket Pasture south of Argonia, KS.
