Map & Directions:
All of our launches are 25 miles southwest of Fresno at the Maddox Dairy,
which is two miles west of the intersection of Kamm and Jameson Avenues.
With the ranch covering 1000šs of acres, the exact launch site can change
from month to month. Look for a rocket sign to show you which road to turn
down. The launch site can be 0.5 mile east or as far as 5 miles west of the
dairy. Please treat the dairy and ranch property with respect. We want to
continue to have permission to use the property.
For those of you with GPS (if you need that explained, you don't have it)
the coordinates are:
N 36° 31.902', W 120° 01.531' or N 36° 31' 54.1 ", W 120° 01' 31.9"
Coming from Fresno, Clovis, Oakhurst, or Shaver Lake - Take Freeway 41 south
to Mountain View, turn west 1 quarter mile to Elm, turn left and go one mile
south to Kamm Ave., go west 15 miles to Maddox Farms. (There's no freeway
exit at Kamm.)
Coming from Sacramento, Merced, or Madera - Highway 99 south to Madera and
Highway 145 South. Travel 30 Miles south to Kamm Ave. (at Helm). Go east 2
miles on Kamm to Maddox Farms.
Coming from Bakersfield, Mojave, China Lake, or Las Vegas - Go to
Bakersfield via Highway 58, then take Highway 99 north about 90 miles to
Kingsburg and exit at Conejo, or past Kingsburg about 2 miles, exit at
Mountain View. On Conejo Ave. go west 12 miles, across Highway 41 and a
quarter mile more to Elm Ave., then north 1 mile to Kamm Ave. Or on Mountain
View go west 11 miles to Elm Ave., then south 1 mile to Kamm Ave. (Kamm is
blocked by Freeway 41.) From Elm Ave. go west 15 miles on Kamm to Maddox
Farms.
Coming from the San Francisco Bay Area or Monterey Bay Area - Go east to
I-5, then go South. About 55 miles past Highway 152, exit I-5 at Highway 33
North, cross over the freeway and immediately turn East on Harlan Ave.,
follow the curves around and it will turn into Mt. Whitney Ave. Continue east 17
miles to Highway 145 at Five Points. Go north 7 miles to
Kamm Ave., then 4 miles east to Maddox Farms.
Coming from Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo, etc. - Take Highway 41 north to
I-5 at Kettleman City. From Los Angeles, Take I-5 north. At the Highway 99
turnoff, stay on I-5 and go about 88 more miles to Kettleman City at Highway
41. From Kettleman City, go north on I-5, 11 more miles to Lassen Ave./
Highway 269 North. Turn right and go north about 32 miles to Kamm Ave. at
Helm. Turn right and go east 2 miles on Kamm to Maddox Farms.
