To All,

I am very pleased to announce five new motor certifications, four from AeroTech Rocketry and one from Loki Research.

From AeroTech, we have certified an additional large Super Thunder load for the 98 mm cases, this the 10240 case. We also have three new Single Use motors, one of a new (old) propellant.

AEROTECH ROCKETRY

M6000ST-PS

This Super Thunder reload is an impressive burn motor, with the signature AeroTech Blue Thunder look in a 1.4 second burn time Trust Profile. The motor is very aggressive on RMS hardware as well, requiring fully glued grains, the large nozzle aft closure and a newly certified stainless steel Seal Disk.

K400C

Now the new Propellant. The K400C (Classic) single use motor is actually a throwback to the Enerjet like propellants of the late 70's-early 80's, a no-smoke, yellow flame with prominent Mach diamonds and an even burn. Burning them for cert reminded me of my Enerjet F52 powered Nike-Ram flights in the early 80's.

LOKI RESEARCH

Next up is Loki Research. Scott has been busy with an additional motor for his 54-4000 case hardware, the M1378LR. The motor, a 4% M motor is representative of Scott's high ISP Red loads, cramming 42 plus inches of propellant in a 43.625 case. As usual with this complex 54-4000 Loki configuration, and due to the tight tolerance of the parts and pieces, take extreme care with assembly. It'll be well worth that due diligence.
