Tripoli is a 501(c)(3) federal non-profit organization founded on April 12th, 1985 in Cincinnati Ohio. The organization is dedicated to the advancement and operation of amateur high power rocketry, to perpetuate safety, and ensure the future of our hobby. Tripoli members are drawn from the United States and 22 additional countries across the globe.

In addition to numerous local prefectures and the organization of launches across the country Tripoli offers its members a variety of services such as research, certifications, motor testing, safety standards, launch insurance, ROCKETS Magazine and many other resources invaluable for the advanced Rocketry community.

Tripoli remains actively engaged with various regulatory agencies (e.g. NFPA, FAA, BATFE) to ensure the voice of our community is heard and to provide a level playing field and favorable legislation for Rocket enthusiasts.

Members making donations will receive a receipt at the beginning of each new year for donations made in the previous year.
